Air Source Heat Pumps

Air Source Heat Pumps are like a refrigerator but in reverse! They move heat from outside into your home, and do not worry, it doesn’t mean it has to be warm outside. If your home does not have a central heating system, has an old oil system or is reliant on electric such as storage heaters or an old electric boiler, it may be suitable for an air source heat pump. An air source heat pump is powered exclusively by electric and is a great option for people living in houses without a gas connection. Whenever we install an air source heat pump, we always try to install a solar PV system to help with the running costs of your new heating system.

All Air Source Heat Pump Installations come with a minimum 1 years workmanship warranty, manufacturer warranties and are registered with Trustmark and MCS.

Having solar PV installed on your roof helps to reduce your electricity bills through the generation of electricity from the suns energy and works even on cloudy days. At the moment, due to the rules of the ECO4 grant, Solar PV can only be installed on properties heated by electric, such as air source heat pumps and high heat retention electric storage heaters. The installation process is fairly straight forward, usually taking no more than 1 day, and includes us erecting scaffolding at your home to access the roof safely, and we will also need to access your loft. Once the panels are installed and switched on, they will begin generating electric immediately (as long as it is daytime!).

All heating systems come with a minimum 1 years workmanship warranty, manufacturer guarantees and are registered with Trustmark and MCS.
