Electric Storage Heaters

If you have old electric storage heaters in your home, we may be able to upgrade these to high heat retention heaters, which are more efficient and cost less money to operate. If we can also install a solar PV system, this can have a positive effect on your electricity bills! A surveyor will visit your home, carefully measuring each room so that we can carry out heat-calculations to determine exactly what size and how many heaters your home needs.

Heating Controls

If you have a boiler in your home you should have a full set of heating controls so that you can control your home heating effectively. If we are upgrading your boiler, installing first time central heating, or installing certain insulation products we may be able to upgrade your heating controls if you do not have a full set. A full set of controls includes a programmer, room thermostat, and thermostatic radiator valves (TRV’s). During your home survey, a surveyor will assess what heating controls you already have so we can determine if you would benefit from having them installed.

Non-Condensing Gas Boiler Upgrade

If you have a gas boiler in your home, and it was installed before April 2005, it may be a non-condensing boiler. We may be able to upgrade your boiler to a more energy efficient model which heats your home more efficiently, and can save you money on your gas bills. A surveyor will visit your home, assess your current heating system including the boiler, pipework, and radiators and we then review this information and information gathered from you about how you heat your home to see if we can upgrade your boiler.
